For Server Owners: Server Integration

To connect your FiveM server to The Continuum, you must install and configure the included resource.

1. Place the the-continuum folder into your server's resources directory.
2. Open the the-continuum/config.lua file and edit the settings to match your server.
3. Add ensure the-continuum to your server's server.cfg file. Make sure it is started after your framework (QBCore, ESX) and database resources.

For Server Owners: Configuring the Resource

The config.lua file is critical for identifying your server. All fields must be filled out correctly.

• Config.Framework: Set to your server's framework (e.g., 'qb-core', 'esx').
• Config.ServerId: A unique ID for your server (e.g., 'my-awesome-server'). Cannot contain spaces.
• Config.ServerName: The public name of your server as it will appear on the website.
• Config.ServerOwnerContinuumUsername: The exact Continuum website username of the server owner. This is required for the "My Server" page to work.
• Fill out the remaining fields to describe your server and provide links for the public server list.

For Players: Linking Your Character

To use features like "My Characters" and "The Nexus," you must link your in-game character to your website account.

1. First, register for an account on this website.
2. Log into the FiveM server you wish to link.
3. Once in-game, type the command /getcode in the chat. You will receive a 6-digit code.
4. Navigate to the Settings page on this website.
5. Enter the 6-digit code into the "Link New Game Character" box and click "Link Character".
6. Your character is now linked! You can view their details on the "My Characters" page.
